Until We Meet Again | Canvas

Inspired by the loss of my mom, I created this artwork as a way to hold both grief and hope at the same time.

I wanted to include my hope that love doesn’t just disappear but shows up in small things, like a beautiful sunset, a soft wind or a little butterfly that makes you pause for a second. 

This piece is not just about loss, but also the hope that through God, this is not the end of the story. We hold onto the promise that they are with Him, at peace, and that one day, we will meet again. That what feels like a goodbye now is not forever, even if it feels that way sometimes...

I wanted this canvas be something you can look at (especially on the days that feel heavier) as reminder that it’s okay to feel the grief and at the same time to hold onto the hope that this goodbye is not forever.
